Service Description

ADOS-2 only, no ADI-r for those 31 months - Adult. Let us link up with your consultant, psychiatrist or psychologist who is doing your ADI-r. We will provide them and your GP with a full ADOS-2 report to make their diagnosis. This service is also available in Portuguese. ​ What is the ADOS-2 Assessment? The ADOS-2 is a structured, one-on-one assessment designed to observe behaviors related to social communication, interaction, and restricted or repetitive behaviors. It is often used as part of an autism assessment process. ​ Key Points to Note: The ADOS-2 alone does not provide a formal autism diagnosis. If you wish to pursue a formal diagnosis, an ADI-R (Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised) will also be required. The ADOS-2 provides valuable insights into autistic traits and can be a helpful step in understanding yourself or exploring a potential diagnosis. ​ What to Expect During the ADOS-2 Assessment: - The session will last between 1 to 1.5 hours and will be conducted by a trained clinician. - The assessment involves a series of structured activities, conversation prompts, and tasks designed to observe natural communication and behavioral responses. - The activities are tailored to your age, developmental level, and communication ability. - There are no right or wrong answers—our goal is to understand your unique way of interacting with the world.​ ​ Need More Information?
